Major Job/Position Responsibilities: Comprehensive Financial Planning: Sitting down with individuals from all walks of life and being able to offer guidance. We work with both insurance and investment products because we believe both are essential to a successful financial plan.

What do you like most about your job/position? What I love most about being at Mutual of Omaha is the ability to help people protect what they care about and invest for the future. We work with individuals at all different stages in their financial plans. One of the great things about this industry is that it is ever-changing, so it’s important to be a student of the industry.

What advice would you give to current students at BVU? Take advantage of all the internship opportunities you can. I had multiple internships throughout my time at BV and I still stay in contact with many of those people. BV grads love hiring other BV grads. You never know what doors those internships could open. My second piece of advice is to make the most of your time on campus. I remember when I stepped foot on campus in the fall of 2017 thinking these next 4 years were not going to go as fast as everyone says they do. I was mistaken. It was some of the most fun times of my life and I left campus with a bigger family than I came in with.
