Job Title & Company: Outpatient Therapist at Seasons Center for Behavioral Health
Major Job/Position Responsibilities: I provide outpatient therapy for children and teenagers. I create a safe space for youth, to foster an environment in which they are able to express themselves and overcome challenges. All the while, I do my best to fulfill Seasons Center’s values, along with my own values, to guide individuals and families towards a meaningful and fulfilling life.
What do you like most about your job/position? It is a life long goal for me to provide help on any level to those who need support and a listening ear. With my position, I am able to consistently meet this goal and give individuals the platform to be seen, heard, and understood, which has been the most rewarding professional adventure of my life.
What does it mean to you to be a beaver? It means so much to me that I am a Beaver. To be a part of a tight-knit community in which I felt seen and cared for, was an experience that I wouldn’t change for anything.
What advice would you give to current students at BVU? Take a chance. If you’re uncertain about a club, major/minor, specific class, or other students, take a chance to learn about your interests. Also, don’t walk through the arch while playing lawn golf!
