Job Title & Company: Inventory Analyst - Target Corporation - Minneapolis, MN

Major Job/Position Responsibilities: At Target I am currently an inventory analyst within the Jewelry/Accessories division in the Handbags department. I handle the purchasing and positioning of product within Target stores throughout the country. As an IA, I am also responsible for implementing strategy to optimize supply chain efficiencies to make sure product is allocating properly throughout Target’s supply chain network.

What do you like most about your job/position? What I enjoy most about my job is knowing my work has an impact on the greater organization and also the Target guest. Target is one of the nation’s leading retailers and I truly feel like this organization has helped me to become more confident in the work that I do and realize how many people I am able to impact by doing so.

What advice would you give to current students at BVU? Take a chance and never be afraid to dream big. Your goals are always achievable. You just have to be willing to put the work in and go the extra mile! BVU has so many people and resources that are able to make these possible. Go make connections and always ask for help along the way!
