Homecoming at BVU is an unforgettable annual event, featuring reunions, fesitivies, athletic competition and more.

Following guidance by public health officials, our campus is closed to external visitors—which includes our alumni and friends – through Dec. 31, 2020. We are keeping our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and Storm Lake community’s health and safety top-of-mind, and this unfortunately means that we won’t be able to physically welcome alumni to campus for Homecoming 2020.

However, many of the regular events you have come to know and love will be celebrated virtually. The NCAA and American Rivers Conference are working to develop protocol which will allow the Beaver Football team to suit up and take the field on Oct. 10. Watch this site for updates, including directions on how to watch the game and for a full schedule of events to come!

After much discussion with the Hall of Fame committee and administration, we have postponed this year’s Hall of Fame banquet until 2021. This prestigious, special event is one of honor for inductees, which is why we have chosen to postpone it to 2021 rather than organize a virtual event or limit attendance.

The Class of 1970 will still be revered as members of the Cornerstone Guard in honor of graduating 50 years ago, and we look forward to celebrating this momentous time in-person at a later date and presenting you with your pin in the future.
